Under the supervision of the team leader or site foreperson, the Interior Systems Installer is responsible for the installation of steel studs, drywall panels, suspended ceilings, and other interior system components. The installer ensures high-quality workmanship and adheres to safety standards on a variety of commercial, institutional, industrial, and large-scale residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Install steel framing for walls and ceilings
- Hang and screw drywall panels
- Install suspended ceilings
- Follow health and safety regulations on job sites
- Collaborate with other trades on-site
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements
- Valid CCQ Interior Systems competency card
- Relevant experience in the trade (an asset)
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Sens du détail, rigueur et autonomie
- Attention to detail, reliable and independent
- Strong teamwork skills
- Driver’s license
