The interior systems foreman is responsible for coordinating and supervising work related to partitions, ceilings, acoustic panels, and other interior systems. They ensure efficient site organization, quality workmanship, and adherence to project schedules, while maintaining health and safety standards on commercial, institutional, industrial, and large-scale residential construction sites.
Responsibilities
• Plan and organize work according to plans and specifications
• Supervise, lead, and support on-site crews
• Assign tasks and monitor work progress
• Ensure quality of installations and compliance with standards
• Coordinate work with other trades
• Anticipate and resolve technical issues
• Ensure deadlines and priorities are met
• Enforce health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment
• Participate in site meetings and communicate effectively with the project manager
Requirements
• Valid CCQ competency card – Interior Systems (journeyman)
• Relevant experience in site supervision
• Leadership, autonomy, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Strong communication and team management skills
• Ability to manage priorities and solve problems efficiently
• Valid driver’s license
